Dr. Harris has over 30 years of experience writing and winning highly competitive NIH grant awards. She has received numerous awards for her work in the area of health communications and for her work in public health. She has prepared successful grant proposals for her own company, community health organizations and state health agencies. She has also advised faculty and small technology companies about the logistics of SBIR grant proposal preparation.
During the course of her career, Dr. Harris has seen how time consuming and challenging it can be for small businesses and faculty to prepare a grant proposal.
